This privacy policy applies to the Voice Mimic: Meme Party Game app for iPhone, made by OYX Labs (Onur Yüksekkaya).

The short version

No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking across apps or websites.
The microphone is used only while the red REC light is on, to score your impression and replay it on stage.
Your recordings stay on your iPhone. They are deleted when the party ends, unless you choose to export and share a clip yourself.

Microphone and recordings

When you record a turn, the audio is processed on your device to calculate a similarity score (melody, rhythm, tone, energy). Recordings are kept in memory for the current party only, so the app can replay them and build the end-of-party clip. We do not upload, store on a server or sell your recordings.

Speech recognition (meme lines)

For spoken meme lines the app can check the words you said using Apple's Speech framework. When your device supports it, recognition runs on-device. If on-device recognition is not available, Apple may process the audio according to Apple's Privacy Policy. You can deny this permission; the line is then scored without the words metric.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and unlock VIP features. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-specific identifier and your purchase history (no name, email or contact details). See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data we collect

Identifiers (an anonymous RevenueCat user ID) and purchase history, used only to provide app functionality. We do not use data for tracking or advertising.

Sharing clips

Clips are created on your device. They leave your device only when you share them through the iOS share sheet, to destinations you choose.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A family-friendly filter hides content with swearing.
